Origins

Johnny and Jules realized their musical talents later in life. From guitars as mutual birthday gifts, a fire was stoked in Julie to learn to write songs and develop her voice. For twelve years she has worked to become the creative force in her band. Julie has been trained by the well known vocal coach Rhetta Butler. She has also been under the tutelage of songwriting coach Judy Stakee, who is best known for developing the career of Sheryl Crow. Lee has worked with teachers such as the renowned Barry Richman among others to go from a guitar novice into the musician that is behind the duos personal sound and style.
